According to the Finnish Business Council in Singapore constitution (FBC rules), Corporate Membership is open to all firms and companies incorporated, registered or represented in Singapore and in other South East Asian countries in which there is a direct or indirect Finnish business interest. All personnel of the corporate members can join the activities of FBC in Singapore. Individual Membership is be open to any person resident in Singapore, 21 years of age or above, who is engaged in business or a profession in Singapore, but whose company does not qualify for Corporate Membership. The membership is only dedicated to the person registered. In all cases, the FBC Board will have the final say about the membership.
The primary mission of the Finnish Business Council in Singapore is to provide its members with quality assured information and a forum to network with other likeminded individuals in order to share experiences. In order to fulfill this mission the FBC arranges regular seminars, maintains a website, publishes a membership newsletter, organizes social events, and participates in joint projects with other Finnish or Nordic organizations.
The annual Corporate Membership fee is currently S$700, and entitles to one free company participation to frequently held luncheons and breakfast meetings. It also includes one subscription of FinnLink Magazine published three times a year by the FBC, and gives admission to a variety of social events. Respectively, the annual Individual Membership fee is currently S$350 and entitles to free participation by the person registered to frequently held luncheons and breakfast meetings.
