The Wipak Group develops and manufactures highly innovative premium-quality packaging solutions for food products and medical instruments and devices.

Wipak has gained a leading position among European suppliers of multilayer films – in particular, barrier films. Joining forces with our North American sister company, Winpak, we can now offer all key markets our broad range of products and services.

Both Wipak and Winpak are part of the packaging division of the Finnish Wihuri Group, which employs more than 5,000 highly qualified professionals, all over the world.

Bringing together our research and development competence with the business group’s global production and sales capacities, we create synergies at all levels. Wipak operates 10 factories, all over Europe, to develop and manufacture premium-quality films and packaging solutions for food products and medical products alike.
Our Products are Divided into Two Main Categories:
Food Packaging supplies packaging films for food products such as fresh meats and other meat products, dairy products, baked goods, confectionery, ready meals, fish, coffee, and a multitude of reclosable packages for markets in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. We also offer tailor-made packages for the tobacco industry and deliver films for processing-industry applications.

Medical Packaging provides a broad range of sterile barrier materials and packaging systems for medical device manufacturers and directly for hospitals and medical care facilities. In addition, we are a global supplier of components for urine-, ostomy-, and drainage-bag manufacture and of PVC-free materials for pharmaceutical packaging.
