Sami Jauhiainen is the Acting Executive Vice President of Neste’s Renewable Aviation business unit, and he leads Neste’s sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) business in the Asia Pacific region. His focus is on developing the market for SAF and building supply chains and partnerships to grow its availability in the region. Sami also works together with public and private stakeholders in developing credible roadmaps for the decarbonization of aviation.
Sami has been with Neste since 2013, holding various leadership roles in strategy and business development. Before joining Neste, Sami worked in energy investment banking in London, advising customers in the global energy sector on mergers & acquisitions and capital markets transactions.
Sami holds a Master of Science degree in Finance from the Helsinki School of Economics, and a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Helsinki University of Technology.

Liping Mian is Key Account Manager for Solution Sales in the Asia Pacific region under Renewable Aviation business unit at Neste since 1 June 2023. She helps corporate customers and freight forwarders reduce their Scope 3 emissions immediately from business travels and upstream & downstream air freight via purchase of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). Prior to this role, she worked as Communications Manager, Asia at Neste from 15 August 2019 to 31 May 2023.
Neste is the world’s leading producer of SAF and renewable diesel, produced mainly from renewable raw materials including wastes and residues, such as used cooking oil and waste animal fat. With its Singapore Expansion Project, Neste has a production capacity of 1 million tons SAF per annum. This will grow to 1.5 million tons per annum in early 2024 and 2.2 million tons in 2026.
Liping graduated from SciencesPo Paris with a professional Master degree in Human Rights and Humanitarian Actions. She is also a certified Project Management Professional and Agile Professional.
