Businesses today are faced not only with highly volatile markets worldwide but also with the huge challenge of transforming their operations to fit the new digital era in order to stay competitive and relevant. The pace of digital adoption is accelerating also because governments are starting to use digitalisation as an opportunity to increase a country’s competitiveness. Singapore’s Smart Nation blueprint is only one example of a national strategy now putting pressure on companies to accelerate their digitalisation strategy. Digital transformation is affecting all parts of society and changing companies and organisations in their core – not only when it comes to business processes, but also how to capitalise on opportunities to grow the top line.

DBS is supporting the digital transformation path of many MNCs in the region. In this session, we will hear from Kelvin Brace, Group Head, Multinational Corporates, Global Transaction Services, and Jason Zhou, Head of Digital Transformation Advisory, Global Transaction Services, at DBS, about what they see as key levers to get it right from start to both advance fast and to build resilience. Topics will include:

  • How today’s 4D macro trends (disruptions, de-globalisation, digitalisation and decarbonisation) are driving the need to create resilience in value chains
  • How digitalisation can increase efficiency and fund sustainability in procurement and supply chain management
  • How to use digitalisation to reshape sales & channel management and grow top line
  • What the roadmap looks like for a company embarking on eCommerce as part of their digital transformation journey.

We will also have with us Joyce Antar, Director of Digitalisation & Shared Services, Asia & Oceania, Commercial Operations, and Serene Gwee, Head of Marketing Communications, at Scania Group, to share their digitalisation journey in Asia & Oceania. In 2017, the company established the Scania Digital Office, to advance the digitalisation process at Scania globally. Digitalisation is also one of the focus areas in Scania’s 2025 Strategy – both to improve core processes and to create new business opportunities.
