FBC’s sister business chamber SwedCham organizes Malaysia – Market Outlook and Business Blueprint breakfast event.
Part 1: Market Outlook and Election Outcome
The Malaysian spring has indeed been eventful; a historic win in the general election by the opposition alliance led by the country’s former leader, Mahathir Mohamad, ended the ruling parties 60-year-old grip on power. The political turbulence can contribute to some short-term uncertainty but most indicators suggest that Malaysia will grow stronger and continue its progress towards a high-income country.
Market Outlook
Time: 8.30 – 9:30 AM, breakfast will be served from 8:15 AM
Cost: S$25 for SwedCham Members, S$40 for non-members
Part 2: Business Blueprint Malaysia
The SwedCham Entrepreneur Committee invites members of the Nordic organisations: DABS, FBC, NBAS and SwedCham to join the second knowledge sharing session in a series focusing on best practices for doing business in the Southeast Asian markets. This time focusing on Malaysia.
The Business Blueprint concept provides the opportunity to participate in informal roundtable discussions addressing challenges and opportunities in the different Southeast Asian markets. The ambition is to identify key drivers of success for Nordic companies doing business in this region.
All participating members will receive a copy of the Business Blueprint for that particular market, and we sincerely hope that members will like to join what should prove to be a fun, insightful, and valuable meeting.
Business Blueprint
Time: 10.00 – 11.30 AM
