Ian Hamilton, Area Sales Director, UPM
Ian started with UPM with Caledonian Paper Mill in Scotland but did his paper training at Kaukas Mill in Lappeenranta in 1988.
After various roles at the mill, he moved to UPM Japan Sales in 2003 before moving again to Chicago in 2007 to head up the UPM USA Technical Team.
Since the start of 2017, he has been Area Sales Director for SE Asia here in Singapore.
Derrick Tay, Senior Manager, Sales ~ Specialty Papers APAC, UPM
Derrick has been in the paper industry for 20 years and now manages UPM’s Technical Sales Services in Southeast Asia in addition to his sales responsibilities.
Derrick has developed strong links between key customers and UPM’s worldwide operations, providing technical competence in resolving performance issues and supporting our regional sales team in creating business value by enhancing product performance and service offerings.
